We are located in a small rural community in Essex County, Harrow, Ontario. We are a family owned business, with our focus on customer service, and strengthening local economy. 

 

Our names are Dale & Kim Wright, and with the help of my twin sister Donna, and her husband Keith, we have started a family business. Donna & I grew up on the farm that our parents bought in 1958, and we lived beside our grandfathers’ farm and and our uncle farmed the land. We raised standard bred race horses; our grandfather raised pigs and chickens, and our uncle did the farming of the land. I currently work in the construction trade but have quickly learnt the trade on beekeeping. Kim is a Registered Practical Nurse and loves to cook and bake. Donna is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and an accountant. Keith is in sales management, and loves the outdoors.

 

We choose the name Hawksview because of Holiday Beach conservation area being a few kilometers away, which have many nests of hawks. They are fascinating birds, and our dad loved to watch them. He passed away in 2004 and in 2017 my wife Kim and I took over the farm property.

 

In 2017 I purchased my first hives and took a great interest in bees and beekeeping. It was in 2018 I realized the need for a retail store that provided bee hobbyist and enthusiasts with supplies. We open for business on August 3rd, 2019 with bee supplies and of course honey.
